Compression Springs

At Mechton Wireforms Pvt. Ltd., we prioritize the efficiency and reliability of our compression springs. Here are some key considerations:

  • Ease of Manufacturing: Compression springs are the easiest type to produce, allowing for rapid and accurate manufacturing. We recommend using them wherever possible.
  • End Types:
    • Avoid open ends or open and ground ends as they tend to tangle during shipping and may buckle when deflected.
    • We recommend using closed ends and minimizing grinding, especially for wire sizes under 0.60 mm or when the spring index is 13 or larger.
    • Conical Springs: Ideal for situations where a short, solid height is needed and to reduce buckling. However, avoid using special shapes if a standard helical spring can meet your requirements.
  • Stress Design: We design springs with safe stress levels when compressed solid to ensure adaptability to various installations.
  • Coiling Direction: Specify the coiling direction only if necessary. For springs threaded onto bolts, right-hand coiling is preferred. If using one spring inside another, use opposite coiling directions (left-hand and right-hand) to avoid coil meshing.
