MCB Copper Coils

Copper coils for miniature circuit breakers, or MCBs, are the conducting parts of an MCB's electromagnetic tripping mechanism. Electrical devices called MCBs are made to guard against short circuits and overcurrents in circuits. An essential component of the MCB's tripping mechanism is the copper coil.

An electromagnetic coil composed of copper wire is typically used in MCBs. The copper coil creates an electromagnetic field that is powerful enough to draw the tripping mechanism in the event of an overcurrent or short circuit, which prompts the MCB to quickly open and disconnect the circuit. Because of its superior heat resistance and electrical conductivity, copper is used in the MCB's tripping mechanism to ensure long-term dependability and effective performance. The MCB operates more efficiently and safely overall when premium copper coils are used.
